Job Description


The role in a nutshell
  •  Lead and manage pharmacovigilance activities, including the collection, assessment, and reporting of adverse drug reactions and other safety-related information.
  • Under the supervision of the quality assurance manager, ensure a robust quality management system in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of changes in pharmaceutical regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure the organization's compliance with Health Canada regulations and other applicable standards.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on pharmacovigilance and quality management practices.
  • Facilitate awareness programs to promote a culture of quality and safety within the organization.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into quality-related incidents and deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address and rectify identified issues.

    • What we need
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 of experience in pharmacovigilance and quality management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of Health Canada regulations and international pharmacovigilance requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
