About the Physician RoleWe're hiring for a Remote Telemedicine Physician to join Curai Health's growing clinical care team. In this fully remote role, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centered, virtual-first primary care to patients across the United States through video visits, live chat, and secure messaging — all supported by Curai's advanced AI-powered clinical technology and proprietary electronic medical records (EMR) system. What You'll Do
In this role, you'll dedicate at least 36 patient contact hours per week to providing high-quality, empathetic treatment to primary care patients in a virtual care setting — including text-based, phone, and video visits. Your clinical accountabilities will include but are not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across various ages and backgrounds
Managing and coordinating care for chronic conditions
Providing preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab results
Prescribing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
Handling referrals and prior authorizations
Managing scheduling and follow-up outreach
Completing administrative tasks including but not limited to:
Accurately and thoroughly documenting tasks and communications in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Completing compliance, CME, and licensing tasks in a timely manner
Maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge and processes, including EMR platform updates, through meetings, trainings, or other means
Participating in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives
Meeting or exceeding established performance standards related to patient satisfaction, encounter documentation, response time, clinical quality metrics, and productivity benchmarks as defined by organizational goals
Serving as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart review, care consultation, and mentorship consistent with applicable state laws and internal collaboration agreements, including video visits as needed
Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Taking on other duties as assigned
