By empowering league operators to effectively run and maintain their programming season after season, we’re committed to making youth sports accessible and inclusive for all.

This W-2 contract role (estimated 4–5 months, through November 15, 2026) will support the growth and success of the Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) program through strong relationship management, operational oversight, and data-driven insights. The role serves as a key liaison to Minor League Baseball clubs and other external partners, strengthening engagement, expanding participation across all levels of the program, and ensuring a strong partner experience. By overseeing event operations, managing end-to-end data processes, and delivering actionable reporting, this role helps drive seamless execution and continuous improvement throughout the 2026 season.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key liaison between Pitch, Hit & Run and the broader baseball and softball community, representing the program with professionalism and sound judgment.

  • Enable community-based and Little League organizations by translating program requirements into clear guidance, tools, and repeatable practices.
  • Support key account and national organization relationships (for example: GameChanger, Babe Ruth Baseball, and Little League) by owning assigned deliverables, follow-ups, and coordination, in alignment with the team’s shared ownership model.
  • Own the operational plan for local host events and Team Championships, including schedules, timelines, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Lead Team Championships communications planning and coordination in partnership with coordinators, ensuring messaging is accurate, timely, and consistent for parents and athletes.
  • Serve as an on-site operations lead for key events as needed, anticipating issues and driving resolution to ensure successful delivery.
  • Serve as the day-to-day owner of the LeagueApps partnership operations, including intake, data flows, issue triage, and coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Lead end-to-end data operations for participation, registration, event, and results data (including host sheets and participant sheets), partnering with coordinators and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as the point person for data-related communication, issue resolution, and system updates, escalating risk and recurring issues with clear recommendations.
  • Maintain the accuracy and functionality of registration systems, reporting platforms, and event data through regular audits and continuous improvement.
  • Lead results tracking and finalization, ensuring validation steps are followed and stakeholders have what they need to confirm completeness.
  • Build and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and tracking systems; package insights and recommendations for leadership to support decision-making.
  • Identify trends, root causes, and opportunities to improve program execution and partner experience; propose process changes within the role’s scope.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Events, Marketing, and PHR Coordinators to align communications, data, and execution, including marketing recognition and congratulations campaigns tied to championships.
  • Represent the program at conventions and partnership events as needed (for example: ABCA, Boys & Girls Club events, and MLB partnership events).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Former experience playing or coaching collegiate sports (preferably baseball or softball)
  • 4–5 years of experience in event operations, relationship building, and program/partner development
  • Strong understanding of the youth baseball/softball landscape
