Job Description

We are seeking an associate to support the Planning & Culture department in the NFL LA office, headquartered in Inglewood next door to SoFi Stadium. This position will be a 12-month external agency position beginning in Spring 2025 and will support the execution of cross-functional projects across the NFL LA campus throughout the 2025-26 NFL season.  

The Planning & Culture department is focused on NFL LA office internal communications, community and culture programs, and strategic cross-functional projects across the LA office and NFL Media, with a focus on workplace engagement. This position works closely with the LA leadership team, Human Resources, Culture Committee, and Employee Resource Groups across the NFL LA office. All employees play an important role in helping to fulfill the NFL’s mission of working to unite people and inspire communities, and this role has a special place in focusing on how we do that effectively for NFL LA staff. 

Responsibilities

  • Support operations around NFL LA Community Impact programs (Sports Content Lab, NFL Good Neighbor, Sports Media Sessions) including staff volunteer sign-ups, program coordination, and communications
  • Coordinate communications calendar pertaining to LA-specific programs, NFL Media business priorities, and DE&I & ERG initiatives  
  • Organize and manage NFL LA employee communications, including content planning, copywriting, and light design/layout (LA newsletter, microsite, in-office monitors, staff meetings)
  • Support Culture Committee programs and assist with the coordination of on-campus culture-based activities throughout the year
  • Partner with various League departments in assisting with broader League-wide employee programs as they roll out to staff in the LA office
  • Assist in supporting NFL Media business plan priorities, DE&I goals, and measures of success 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of professional office experience in a related field
  • Strong editorial voice through written and verbal communications
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications (e.g., emails, newsletters, presentations)
  • Creative eye / light design skills (e.g., ability to use Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools)
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and levels

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • 40 hours/week

Salary / Pay Range

Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Salary
$27$29 USD
