Research at WHOOP covers a range of specialities across scientific exploration, product innovation, and clinical testing. This work is empowered by the research platform, a suite of tools that WHOOP researchers use to conduct in person and remote studies. WHOOP is seeking a Platform Designer with strong UX thinking, collaboration skills, and a passion for usability to execute key improvements to help our research scale.
This is a 3 month temporary role, based out of our Boston HQ.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Own updates to the platform’s user experience, working closely with the Platform Manager and research stakeholders to prioritize and solve the largest usability pain pointsEvolve platform design concepts by producing mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designsBuild templates for key screens to support multiple languages, including right-to-left and left-to-right text orientationSupport the development of clinically compliant features by producing relevant design documentation for key features such as informed consent signatureCollaborate with the Platform team to understand feature requirements and test potential design directions with users / subject matter expertsQUALIFICATIONS:2+ years designing digital products, experience with highly technical/complex UIs a plusExperience owning the entire UX design process from start to finishExperience designing internal or enterprise tools a plusA portfolio of previous UX design workA user-centered approach to design, with a passion for usability and functionalityFluency in written Arabic a plusWHOOP is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates inE-verify to determine employment eligibility.
