Neko Health is a Swedish health-tech company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Our vision is to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection. Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is both convenient and affordable for the public. This requires completely reimagining the healthcare experience and incorporating the latest advances in sensors and AI. We are a remote first company with headquarters in Stockholm and almost 100 employees across Europe.

Neko Health is seeking an experienced PR Manager to lead and coordinate public relations activities in the UK. As our first PR hire in the UK, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand growth by establishing strong media and influencer relationships, executing strategic communication plans, and ensuring consistent visibility.

Public relations are Neko Health’s strongest acquisition channel, and your ability to generate demand through strategic PR initiatives will be essential to our success. You will also be responsible for leading non-paid influencer marketing efforts, creating authentic engagement with key personalities to elevate brand awareness.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for PR, capable of adapting to a fast-paced, evolving role with a strong sense of ownership and a results-driven mindset

Responsibilities:
  • Execute PR Strategies: Work closely with our HQ to implement consumer communication and campaign strategies. Drive continuous news coverage and secure monthly media attention through strategic PR initiatives.
  • Cultivate Media Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and industry influencers to increase media coverage and ensure positive brand recognition. Act as the key media contact for Neko Health in the UK, managing press inquiries and maintaining media databases.
  • Build and Manager Influencer Relationships: Identify, nurture and collaborate with influencers, YouTubers, celebrities, and social media personalities. Oversee influencer-driven campaigns to boost brand awareness, product reviews, and endorsements that engage and resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor and Measure PR Impact: Track and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns and influencer collaborations. Measure media coverage, social sentiment, and other relevant KPIs to assess success and improve future initiatives.
  • Content Creation and Distribution: Collaborate with content and design team to develop compelling PR materials, including press releases, articles, email campaigns, and social media content. Ensure consistent messaging and timely distribution across all channels.

  • Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in PR, ideally within the lifestyle, fashion and tech sector.
  • Proven success in a similar PR or communications role.
  • Experience working with influencers, celebrities, and social media personalities.
  • Established network of media professionals, with strong relationships across relevant media outlets.
  • Ability to develop creative and impactful PR angles to keep the brand relevant.
  • Excellent writing skills, capable of translating technical jargon into high-impact messaging.
  • Flexible, open-minded, and comfortable taking on evolving responsibilities.

  • We offer a dynamic work environment with a high degree of autonomy that fosters growth and development. If you are passionate about building a better healthcare system for everyone and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
