We are searching for a highly-skilled and self-motivated Principal Software Engineer to join our expanding global team. As a key member of one of the PlayStation Studios Central Tech teams, you will work on two critical internal web applications: the Product Data Catalog (PDCat) and the Music Asset Management System (Music dB).
PDCat serves as the single source of truth about PlayStation Studios’ game titles. It is used by game producers, financial analysts, compliance and legal teams, release managers, and many more.
Music dB is a repository of information concerning the music assets used in our games. It streamlines collaboration, helps with upholding legal compliance, and enhances the overall audio experience of video games.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of these applications, both on the backend (Java, Spring Boot) and front-end (JavaScript, ExtJS). Additionally, you will collaborate and engage with different groups within PlayStation Studios to gather requirements and ensure the continued success of both projects.
