Job Description

On is in a state of fast growth, and our Talent team is at the heart of it all. We are looking for a Principal Workday Integration Architect to serve as the master builder of our HR data ecosystem.

This is a high-impact technical role. You will be responsible for the "circulatory system" of our people data, ensuring our global systems communicate seamlessly. But we aren't just looking for standard maintenance; we want someone ready to take their Workday expertise to the next level. You will partner with our IT teams to pioneer the use of AI and Agentic workflows, automating the mundane to elevate the human. If you are a Workday Studio expert who is fascinated by the intersection of deep tech, AI, and HR, this is your chance to make a global impact.

<h3><h3 class="section-header">Your Mission</h3></h3>

  • Architect the Integration Landscape: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex integrations using Workday Studio, Orchestrations, EIBs, and Cloud Connect (incl. Global Payroll). Ensure secure, resilient, and high-performing data flows.
  • Drive Technical Excellence: Define our integration standards, conduct rigorous code reviews, and translate business ambitions into brilliant technical reality alongside stakeholders.
  • Pioneer AI in HR (The Exciting Part!): Partner with our IT team to explore how Google Vertex AI can transform HR data. You will help build intelligent automations and "smart" workflows that reason and act autonomously.

Your Story

  • A proven track record of 5-7+ years in Workday integrations, with expert-level proficiency in Workday Studio (experience with Java, XSLT, HTML is essential); any other programming experience like Python is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with Workday Orchestrations is a significant plus.
  • A deep technical curiosity about AI; Any exposure to Google Enterprise Agent Platform or building Agentic workflows is a massive bonus, but a strong desire to learn is just as valuable.
  • Nice to have: Understanding of Talent/Retail processes (Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding)
  • The ability to thrive in a global environment, which includes working flexibly across timezones to collaborate with our North American teams (specifically PST).
  • A solutions-architect mindset. You don't just fix bugs; you diagnose root causes and build sustainable, automated systems that scale.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical architectures to non-technical partners and lead high-stakes technical projects.
