Role Overview As a Producer within Formula 1’s Content Production team, you will play a leading role in creating the digital content that brings the sport to life for millions of fans around the world. From breaking news and race weekend storytelling to long-form social first edits, you will help shape how audiences engage with Formula 1 across its global digital platforms. Working at the centre of F1’s fast-paced content operation, you will lead the planning, development and delivery of innovative video content across a range of formats and channels. Whether you're developing creative concepts, leading teams during race weekends or refining storytelling approaches, you will be responsible for producing compelling content that informs, entertains and engages Formula 1’s global fanbase.
You will work closely with Senior Producers, Editors, Motion Designers, freelancers and stakeholders across the business, bringing together creative, editorial and operational expertise to deliver world-class content to demanding deadlines. As a key member of the team, you will help drive creative excellence while ensuring content remains relevant, accurate and aligned with both audience expectations and platform trends. Main Duties And Responsibilities Lead the planning, creation and development of Formula 1’s digital video content across both short-form and long-form formats.
Experience Prior to the role it would be essential that you: Have at least five years’ experience producing video content.
Have a proven track record delivering both fast-turnaround and long-form digital or social content. Have experience leading creative projects from concept development through to final delivery.
Be confident managing multiple stakeholders, contributors and priorities simultaneously. Have experience working within deadline-driven production environments.
Have experience overseeing content creation across multiple digital platforms.
Qualifications Not essential to be successful in the role but you may also have the following qualifications: A qualification in Media Studies or a similar discipline with a focus on video production.
Training or experience using non-linear editing platforms, ideally Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge & Skills Prior to the role it is essential that you demonstrate: The ability to identify and develop engaging content for different audiences and platforms.
Experience publishing video, article and digital content.
Strong editorial judgement and storytelling skills.
Experience writing compelling headlines and content copy for a variety of audiences and channels.
Broad knowledge of Formula 1, digital media platforms and contemporary video production techniques. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working collaboratively across teams.
Experience managing freelance creative teams.
Some desirable knowledge and skills that you may bring to the role: Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Audition.
Experience working within sport, motorsport, entertainment or journalism environments.
The ability to create and develop creative briefs, presentations and pitch materials.
Experience writing scripts for video, broadcast, digital or other multimedia content.
