Rockstar is looking for a Producer to coordinate the implementation of in-game vignette dialogue. This role will focus on creating and managing dialogue assets, liaising with key stakeholders across several different departments, and maintaining relationships with the Directors and Engineers post-recording. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in high pressure situations, doesn’t get flustered easily and is able to multitask and work well with a wide range of personalities. Previous production experience as well as an in-depth understanding of asset management and scheduling is a must.

WHAT WE DO

  • The Rockstar Games Performance Production team tracks and organizes all assets in the post-production environment.
  • Specifically for Audio, we manage the delivery of dialogue to the game.
  • We support directors to help maintain the nuance and continuity of the game’s narrative and performances.
  • We work in collaboration with other departments to help drive the collective vision across all content in our games. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide production support for the Audio team, within the scope of in game dialogue; working in partnership with animation, design, writing, and additional internal teams.
  • Manage and coordinate the flow and delivery of assets and information between different disciplines and team members.
  • Work in collaboration with voiceover producers in preparing for VO sessions.
  • Create dialogue breakdown sheets with clear understanding of how scenes play out, and the in-game technical implementation of dialogue.
  • Schedule review sessions between Directors and Audio Engineers.
  • Attend reviews, take notes, and provide action points to relevant teams spanning multiple disciplines.
  • Track progress to meet milestones and deadlines, identifying and resolving issues preventing progress.
  • Respond to any changes and feedback post-delivery and manage any follow up tasks.
  • Maintain, but also seek to improve processes and workflows.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with audio, dialogue and animation teams.
  • Works cross-functionally to ensure all needed assets, resources, and deadlines are identified and managed day-to-day to successfully meet organizational expectations and project goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of production experience in PC or console AAA titles.
  • Understanding of dialogue or animation production pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with scheduling and project management software such as Monday.com, ShotGrid or Jira.
  • High level of motivation and passion for detail-oriented work.
  • Strong drive for excellence and pride in ownership of tasked responsibilities.
  • Enthusiasm for making and playing all types of video games.

  • Comfortable taking charge without alienating others.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to handle documentation as needed.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
