As the Product Design Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our in-house sportsbook platform, Ariadne. You will lead a team of passionate designers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding user-centric solutions. We are looking for a creative thinker, strategic planner and effective leader who can drive the design vision while ensuring alignment with business goals.

Within our centralized model, we support multiple Scrum teams dedicated to delivering new functionalities or enhancements to existing ones. Furthermore, we proactively take the initiative to explore known user pain points, taking a step beyond standard operations. Our cooperation is framed in between two-week sprints, resulting in a well-defined and documented design process. Plus, our business as usual does not only include velocity, designs and tickets but also participation in professional certifications.

As a Product Design Lead

• Contribute to research that helps solve problems and drives successful, user-oriented design decisions;
• Reach out to our users for usability testing based on their feedback and monthly follow-ups/ shadowing sessions to gain a deeper understanding and identify potential pain points;
• Use your passion and expertise to ensure all UX designs for our platform apps are efficient & user-friendly;
• As part of a cross-functional team, collaborate effectively with a range of colleagues, such as the product manager, product owner, developers and stakeholders;
• Add value to our wider Product design team;
• Annotate design deliverables to ensure the design intent is clearly communicated to the development team and that there is a sufficient level of detail provided to support the implementation process.

• Advocate for a user-centric design philosophy, ensuring that the end user's needs and experience are at the forefront of the design process;
• Promote a culture of experimentation and iteration within the design team;
• Promote a culture of continuous learning within the design team, encouraging skill development and staying current with industry advancements;
• Ensure the highest standards of design quality and consistency in all deliverables;
• Collaborate with internal users, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable design strategies;

Νice to have

• Experience in sports betting products or within in-house platforms;
• Adept at learning quickly in a fast-paced environment;
• Good knowledge of Usability and A/B Testing;
• Previous experience working in a startup environment, showcasing adaptability, resourcefulness and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
