We’re looking for a sharp, humble and deep-thinking Intermediate Product Designer who is eager to learn and make an impact with our internal platform.

  • Navigate dense architecture and system maps to improve how our admins operate
  • Collaborate with our data service experts, dig through details and simplify their complex needs
  • Evaluate and design the levers and knobs our internal platforms need to maintain the sporting experience
  • Enhance the current experience by evaluating user goals, collaborating with research to uncover unmet needs / pain points, and creating intuitive experiences within a data heavy interface

Typical Work Day

  • Ship aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that delight and add value to our users.
  • Work closely with other product designers, product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders, to solve user problems, from ideation to execution.
  • Leverage our double-diamond design playbook and various frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, hi-fi’s etc.
  • Follow and help evolve our design system and language across platforms.
  • A critical part of product design involves pitching your work and justifying your design decisions, so you’ll be expected to communicate and articulate your thoughts regularly.
  • Being open and receptive to feedback, exploring iterations, and providing critique for other product designers.
  • Participate in conducting user research, usability testing etc. and leveraging intelligence tools such as Amplitude for quantitative feedback.
  • Always thinking about how to improve team and organizational processes.
  • Most days, you’ll be using Figma, so ensure you have a good understanding of how the tool works, from design to prototyping.

What We’re Looking For From You

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
  • A strong portfolio showing your process of working through full end-to-end experiences, design thinking, and using research to drive decisions.
  • Experience designing web and responsive UX / UI.
  • SaaS, enterprise services, or admin tools and dashboard experience a plus
  • A working understanding of iOS and Android patterns and conventions.
  • You have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and you’re always considering the business side of design to further the strategy of the company.
  • You’re comfortable working autonomously and proactively, while also knowing when to bring others in to move things forward quickly.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
  • Nice to have: Front-end development knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
