Are you an experienced Product Manager looking to be at the cutting edge of athletic performance and the human body? If you are an enthusiastic and highly-motivated individual with a genuine interest in technology, human performance and a passion to deliver cutting-edge products, we have the perfect job for you. 

Based in Melbourne, this PM will join one of our Product Teams, being responsible for representing the voice of the customer (both internal and external) while collaborating with engineering, design and other PMs to steer development aligned with identified market needs and defined product objectives. You will discover, prioritise and evaluate the finer detail of our product by working closely with your teams to build the next generation of our performance and health solutions, providing insights and analytics to coaches, sports scientists and athletes, assisting them in optimising athlete performance.

Our Product Managers need to match this ethos by taking responsibility for constantly improving productivity and development of self, and be able to excel in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Be the voice of the customer for the product, analyse market trends and requirements as well as competitor products by deeply understanding customer problems to uncover unmet needs.
  • Provide vision and direction to your team and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams that include UI/UX, engineering, quality assurance, customer support, sales and marketing experts to discover and deliver impactful solutions that create high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Workshop, capture and refine product opportunities and solutions with your team using a the right product development technique for the right opportunity.
  • Assess value and prioritise efforts to ensure teams focus on those with maximum impact and alignment to product strategy.
  • Plan, prioritise and groom the product backlog with your team. 
  • Play the role of Subject Matter Expert within the team throughout product development, testing and delivery phases to ensure we solve our customer problems with a consistent eye to quality. 
  • Work closely with the Product leaders to create and maintain a backlog of opportunities according to customer need, business value and ROI.
  • Contribute to product go-to-market plans and set expectations for delivery of new solutions.
  • Value simplicity and being able to find the fastest path to deliver maximum value to our customers. This includes managing expectations, balancing requests against goals and playing a key role in go-to-market planning.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 3+ years of product management in a technical environment or adjacent experience
  • You geek out over the technical details of a product
  • Be guided by data, show an understanding of measuring impact
  • Ability to think holistically about all aspects of getting a product to market successfully, beyond feature readiness alone
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solid organisational, leadership and time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-motivated.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a bias for action.
