The Opportunity 

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with our engineering, operations, and design teams to write product requirements, manage the product lifecycle, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will leverage agile and scrum methodologies to bring new features to life in a fast-paced environment. This role will specifically focus on building internal facing admin tools used to manage our client accounts. These tools will cover product areas that include, but are not limited to, client permissions, configurations, onboarding and business settings. 

 

The Day-to-Day 

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and design teams to define, document, and prioritize product requirements and specifications, including PRDs/BRDs, user flow diagrams, and implementation tickets. 
  • Lead one or more scrum teams, guiding them through the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies. 
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog and implementation roadmap, taking into account competing priorities, dependencies, resources, and deadlines. 
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. 
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and results to stakeholders and team members. 
  • Utilize JIRA and other Atlassian tools to manage and track project progress. 
  • Make strategic prioritization decisions to balance requirements, resources, and deadlines. 
  • Ship new product features and increments in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market demands to ensure our products meet customer needs and maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Work independently while effectively collaborating in a team environment. 

Your Qualifications 

  • A degree in business, technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Manager, Product Analyst, or related role leading one or more scrum teams. 
  • Experience designing, building, and updating internal applications that best suit the needs of the organization to facilitate growth at scale. 
  • Prior ownership of one or more software/digital products or product areas. 
  • Excellent English language communication and documentation skills. 
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment; Scrum/Agile certification preferred. 
  • Proven ability to ship new product features and increments in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment. 
  • Strong ability to make strategic prioritization decisions, considering requirements, resources, and deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in breaking down broad product concepts into thorough, validated product requirements and specifications. 
  • Experience using JIRA and other Atlassian tools. 
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment. 
  • Knowledge of the fitness and health & wellness industries is preferred. 
  • Experience with start-up/early-stage companies is a plus.
