Let's start with the role
The Payments Platform team, part of the Platform department, serves as a horizontal function supporting the Payments Product and Operations teams. This team oversees all transaction and player account management mechanics across product verticals.
With full ownership of payments platform services, the team plays a pivotal role in enhancing payments and player account management experience, to the overall enhancement of both internal and external customers’ experience.
We are looking for a Product Manager for the Payments/Player Account Management area. Collaborating with the Payment Platform teams, you will lead initiatives to enhance customer payments experience, drive optimization, and operational excellence across product verticals. In this role, you will mentor and guide Product Owners, and work closely with Product Managers from other verticals, as well as key stakeholders such as Commercial, Operations and Compliance.
As a Product Manager for our Payments Platform team, you will:
Strategic Leadership
- Own and drive the strategic direction of the Payments Platform product portfolio.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities based on market insights and data.
- Make informed decisions balancing business value, technical feasibility, and user needs.
- Advocate for data-driven decision making in strategic initiatives.
Product Vision & Roadmap
- Define and communicate a compelling product vision supported by market evidence.
- Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Set clear, measurable goals and OKRs for the product & platform organizations.
- Establish and track key success metrics for product initiatives.
Product Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement through evidence-based decision making.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancement based on performance metrics.
- Champion product quality and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance wall product decisions comply with regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Present data-backed strategies and results to senior leadership.
- Develop compelling, evidence-based business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Navigate complex organizational dynamics to drive product success.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Foster effective partnerships across diverse teams, such as Commercial, Research & Experimentation, Product, Design, Responsible Gaming (RG), Operations, Compliance, and Tech teams.
- Align product initiatives with company-wide strategic objectives.
- Drive alignment through shared understanding of product performance.
- Facilitate effective collaboration between product and support functions.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning.
- Guide Product Owners in making informed product decisions.
- Support Product Owners in their career development and growth.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience in product management.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
- Experience mentoring and developing Product Owners.
- Deep understanding of the payments industry.
- Strong understanding of product management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
