Let's start with the role

As a Product Owner and member of an Agile development team at Kaizen Gaming, you will drive the vision and development of products by applying Agile best practices to maximize the business value of the team's deliverables.

The focus will be on making the Responsible Gaming journeys as seamless as possible, ensuring the optimal overall experience, allowing them to focus on our entertainment products - Sportsbook & Gaming.

As a Product Owner in Responsible Gaming, you will:

• Drive a Scrum team, providing vision and direction throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create and communicate requirements in the form of epics and stories.
• Manage the backlog and iteration planning process according to business value and/or ROI.
• Drive the product release plans and set the expectations for the delivery of new functionalities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating product updates, progress, and risks.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user engagement, revenue, and retention.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to keep our products competitive and innovative.

What you'll bring:

The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the future of our Responsible Gaming product vision. Collaborating closely with software development and operational teams, the Product Owner will be in charge of delivering innovative solutions that elevate the users experience. 

More specifically, we are looking for a professional with: 

• At least 2 years of working experience as a Product Owner/Manager in a technological environment or software products.
• Solid Agile experience.
• Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify the technical and business changes required to address them.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams.
• A good understanding of technology, programming languages and software architecture is considered a plus
• Experience working with design teams and understanding UX fundamentals is valued.
• Exposure to the Betting, Gaming, or Fintech industries (a plus).
• Involvement in Responsible Gaming and/or Compliance initiatives (a strong plus).
