What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Product Owner, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional products that delight users and support business goals. From defining roadmaps to collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help ensure Hawk-Eye’s tools continue to lead the way in sports officiating and broadcast technology.

Each day, you will:

• Collaborate with users, clients, and stakeholders to analyse needs and translate them into product requirements

• Shape the product vision and roadmap, prioritising features and backlog items to guide Agile engineering teams

• Write detailed requirements and user acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and alignment

• Partner with engineering and delivery teams to maintain consistency across the product portfolio

• Ensure training, documentation, and testing are completed for seamless rollouts

• Monitor product performance and support troubleshooting to meet customer SLAs

• Research market trends and competitor activity to inform product strategy

• Act as an ambassador for your product, ensuring communication and alignment across teams

• Occasionally travel internationally to meet users and gather insights

Tech Stack and Skill Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• 2+ years in a Product role, managing the end-to-end product lifecycle

• Strong experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex products

• Proven ability to write detailed requirements and acceptance criteria

• Exceptional organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience defining product roadmaps and aligning with business goals

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with products that combine software and hardware

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum or Kanban environments

• Experience with cloud-based solutions or similar technologies

• Internal Candidates - Experience with the operational software tools that power the delivery of our products and services. Current examples include:
