Job Responsibilities : The Product Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality and reliability standards throughout the development cycle and into mass production.

This role supports qualification activities, drives defect prevention, performs data-driven analysis, and partners closely with Compliance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Customer Support to resolve issues and improve product performance.

The engineer leverage's reliability methodologies, structured problem-solving, and AI-enabled analytics to identify risks early, improve quality coverage, and support continuous improvement efforts across the organization 1.

Qualification Testing Support Assist in executing product quality and reliability tests for new product introductions (NPI).

Support test setup, sample preparation, test execution, and data collection.

Ensure proper documentation of test results, deviations, and observations. 2.

Data Analysis & Reporting Perform basic data analysis on test results and reliability data.

Prepare reports, summaries, and dashboards for engineering reviews.

Highlight abnormalities, trends, or potential risks to senior engineers. 3.

Issue Tracking & Coordination Support root cause investigation activities by gathering data, reproducing issues, and documenting findings.

Work with cross functional teams to track corrective actions and ensure timely closure.

Maintain logs for defects, test results, and qualification progress. 4.

Process & Documentation Management Assist in updating quality procedures, test plans, and qualification documentation.

Help improve test workflows, data accuracy, and process efficiency.

Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and documentation practices. 5.

Lab Support & Supplier Interaction Coordinate with local reliability labs for sample submission and test scheduling.

Assist with basic lab audits, equipment verification, and housekeeping tasks.

Support communication with external labs and suppliers assigned. 6.

Cross Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product Quality Engineers, Compliance, R&D, and Manufacturing to support issue resolution.

Participate in build events, reliability runs, and engineering discussions when needed.

Provide administrative and operational support to the Quality team.

Pre-Requisites : Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics, or related) 2-5 years of experience in product quality, reliability engineering, validation, or hardware development Strong foundation in quality engineering, reliability engineering, or product validation/testing Knowledge of environmental and reliability testing methods, standards, and tools Understanding of reliability concepts, failure mechanisms, statistical analysis, and DOE Experience with NPI builds, reliability qualification, or mass-production quality support Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and documentation processes Ability to work with data-analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) Exposure to AI/ML-based analytics or predictive modeling tools is an advantage Knowledge of scripting/programming (Python, R, Linux/Windows) is a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Good communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly Team players with strong collaboration and cross-functional coordination abilities High attention to detail, ownership, and a continuous-improvement mindset Ability to support local and occasional overseas builds, audits, and qualification activities Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic engineering environments Razer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
