Let's start with the role

The Customer Account & Services team is responsible for core functions such as registration, account verification, account communications etc. The Account Comms Product Specialist role is part of this team, supporting end-to-end product delivery and managing all operational aspects involved.

As a Product Specialist in Account Comms, you will:

  • Conduct market research, map competition and highlight best practices.
  • Work with both external partners and internal teams (i.e. Business Intelligence, Customer Support, Customer Experience, and others) to collect data and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Identify customer pain points and opportunities, promote product optimizations and support internal experimentation and CX activities (where applicable).
  • Gather requirements for new products and markets and create Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
  • Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, Compliance, Finance, Procurement etc) to ensure that the right product gets delivered at the agreed quality and time.
  • Develop product forecasts and monitor monthly progress, while also resolving any invoice issues with vendors.

What you’ll bring

The ideal candidate for this role aspires to work in a fast-paced product environment and is eager to enhance our product offering and create an exceptional customer experience. Specifically, we're looking for a professional with:

  • 2+ years in a product role within a consumer internet business, or in a high-velocity, high-growth product or business unit.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing various sources of data and writing product requirements.
  • Preferred experience in customer service tools and processes
  • Well-versed in translating stakeholder requirements into executable products and working with a wide range of teams. 
  • Experience working closely with technology and design teams and good understanding of technologies used to drive the best product experiences. 
  • Keen attention to detail, expert-level organization and communication skills.
