Job Description

Spotlight Sports Group is a global media and technology company specialising in content and data within sports betting, horse racing and fantasy sports. With over 400 employees, the group operates multiple award-winning brands, including Racing Post, the world’s largest horse racing affiliate, Pickswise, myracing and Free Super Tips. We partner with leading operators across the betting industry to produce and build multilingual, best-in-class digital products and content to engage and educate customers. ICS-digital, an international marketing agency including ICS-translate, also operates under the group.

Now we’re expanding our video and audio team to take that heritage into bold new spaces: high-impact short-form videos, blue-chip podcasts and lively racing and sports panel shows. If you love creating content that informs, entertains and connects fans across every platform, this is your chance to shape the next chapter of an iconic media brand.

This role will be working from our London office 3 days a week and 2 days working from home.

Reports to:
Senior Video Producer

Job Purpose / Summary:
We are growing our multimedia production capacity to support an expanding slate of social video, audio and feature programming. You will play a central role in keeping the production process running smoothly — from file management and metadata organisation to assisting on shoots and managing assets for distribution. The Production Co-ordinator will work closely with producers, editors and the wider content team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who has strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a passion for digital content and sport.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Support the video and audio teams with day-to-day production logistics.
  • Manage digital assets and file transfers, ensuring footage and audio are correctly labelled, archived and backed up.
  • Handle metadata entry, maintaining consistent naming conventions and project organisation across editing systems and storage platforms.
  • Assist with the ingesting and wrangling of camera footage from location and studio shoots.
  • Carry out basic edits, trims and exports under supervision, preparing content for publication on social, audio and digital channels.
  • Upload, schedule and publish content across multiple platforms, ensuring correct formats, thumbnails, captions and descriptions are applied.
  • Assist in booking talent, contributors, studio space and equipment for shoots and recordings.
  • Support producers on set and in the field — setting up kit, managing call sheets and taking production notes.
  • Track and update production schedules, deliverables and version histories.
  • Work with marketing and editorial teams to distribute finished assets and ensure they reach all relevant channels.
  • Maintain internal databases and trackers for ongoing projects and deliverables.
  • Provide general administrative and logistical support to the video and audio teams as required.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data and file management.
Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro for basic editing; familiarity with Photoshop or After Effects an advantage.
  • Understanding of common video formats, codecs and export settings.
  • Good knowledge of digital and social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X.
  • Confident communicator and team player, comfortable working with multiple departments.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Some experience in a production or media environment (work placement or equivalent) desirable.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings during major racing events.
  • A passion for horse racing and sport is a plus, but a keen interest in digital media and storytelling is essential.

How to Apply

Please submit your CV and a short covering note outlining your relevant experience and interest in this role. If available, include links or examples of any video or digital content you have helped to produce, edit or manage. In your note, tell us briefly what excites you most about creating or organising digital content around horse racing and sport.

Benefits

We offer a range of well-being initiatives, including private medical insurance, excellent parental leave, a working globally policy, mental health support, assistance programs, and social gatherings. We also provide a pension scheme and various other benefit schemes. Plus, we all get our birthdays off work and enjoy 25 days of holiday per year, as well as the opportunity to buy 5 additional days per year and you can be flexible about when you use your public holidays.

We’ve also got you covered with life assurance and exclusive perks like the Star card and our Step Further Awards (our employee recognition program) to recognise your dedication. For those working via the hybrid model (in the office and at home) we’ve made commuting easier with our Season Ticket Loan and Cycle to Work Scheme.
