We are seeking a dynamic Production Coordinator to join our team for a 12m maternity cover, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of our production processes.

As a Production Coordinator, you will take charge of a diverse range of responsibilities, from managing purchase orders and sample logistics to maintaining supplier relationships and optimising our production workflows.

Your role will be at the intersection of various teams, collaborating closely with our Production Buying, Sourcing, Logistics, Commercial, Product Marketing, Finance, and more.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Creating and managing Purchase Order contracts and issuing to vendors within agreed business SLA.

Monitoring, updating and managing the Critical Path to ensure on-time delivery of production
Building vendor relationships and coordinating weekly meetings to monitor production progress
Reporting vendor performance
Attending meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on production status and supporting with business requirements
Monitoring vendor capacity against production orders.
Updating internal trackers to facilitate the business ambition of visibility and consistency.
Supporting the Production Manager in establishing an ecosystem of relationships within GSHQ, and external stakeholders.
Liaising with freight forwarding partner to ensure vendors are following process to ensure on time hand over

WHAT YOU'LL BE NEED:

Confident handling high volumes of data with strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables for reporting.
Production experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within manufacturing.
Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with various departments and colleagues.
Experience working across diverse product ranges and using product lifecycle management software.
Strong problem-solving skills, delivering accurate and methodical results with motivation.
Ability to inspire and support colleagues, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on high standards and determination.
Familiarity with NetSuite software and other relevant management tools.
CIPS qualification is preferred but not essential.

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
