Are you an experienced Production Manager with a passion for Formula 1 looking for a new challenge in a globally focused role? As a Production Manager at DAZN, you'll be part of the revolutionary, global sports streaming service & rights holder of Formula 1 and a large portfolio of other sports! In this exciting role, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our Formula 1 unilateral live events and non-live productions.
This role will ensure that every event is produced within budget and meets all associated business requirements. With events taking place in many countries across the globe, we are looking for a candidate that has experience of working on live events in multiple locations, and who possesses exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills to handle numerous requests from host broadcasters, third-party providers and internal staff.
The Production Manager may be required to work on some live shows from the Madrid facilities and may occasionally be required to travel to other locations where necessary.
This role will be based in our Madrid office. As our new Production Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to:Manage all international travel logistics and hotels for all staff travelling to each Formula 1 Grand Prix in line with the production budget and travel policy. Become the main point of contact with FOM to ensure all accreditations and facilities are booked for all on site productions. Work with our facilities provider to ensure consistent services in each country and accurate Health & Safety documentation and call sheets.Work with the Head of Resources and the Finance team to create and implement the Formula 1 Production budget for both live and non-live Formula 1 related content.Ensure that contracts are in place and all payments to freelancers and suppliers are made according to DAZN´s payment terms. Coordinate staff and freelance crew for any required onsite productions as well as the shows produced from our Madrid´s facilities working alongside our third-party providers. Manage onsite support at events worldwide and Spain when required.Work with DAZN operations and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of all events on the DAZN platforms.Work with DAZN Programming teams to provide support on producing non-live and studio content. You'll have:A passion for sport, particularly Formula 1, with huge drive, determination and work ethic.Excellent budgeting skills and experience of managing and reporting on production budgets of significant size.Organised and structured work approach to ensure all deadlines are met on time and an understanding of the complexity of the sporting calendar. Ability to foster relationships with clients and colleagues of all levels, identifying the right level of support at all stages.Ability to work under pressure, whilst offering guidance and advice to both colleagues and external stakeholders to help them meet delivery.Excellent excel skills, and great knowledge of budget documentation. Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a bonus.Experience line managing and developing staff to work on projects alongside you. First rate knowledge of and interest in sport both locally and globally.Understanding of technical and delivery workflows.A high level of emotional intelligence with a diplomatic and positive approach to challenge.
