Barstool Sports is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced production coordinator who will work cross-departmentally to support Barstool shoots, events, and productions. This person should have 1+ years of experience with project coordination relevant to Barstool (sports, comedy, reality tv, events, etc.). This role will be based out of Chicago. The position will report directly to the Production Operations Manager. 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with the production manager on all day to day production events such as in-office/off-site video shoots, podcasts, etc to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently
  • Work with production manager on studio schedules; maintain studio cleanliness/organization
  • Coordinate travel for talent and producers; track and keep organized spreadsheets for flights, hotels, cars
  • Implementation of sound logistics and seamless execution across travel, internal/external crew, equipment, talent, on-site support, and inter-department communications for all events
  • Working closely with producers and the production manager on props/items that need to be ordered for shows/studios; organizing and tracking props
  • Working closely with the control room to ensure productions run smoothly
  • Tracking expenses, ensuring they align with the appropriate budget, and documenting transactions
  • Seek out and research vendors in the production realm (cleaning companies, shipping companies, freelance crews, set designers, etc); maintain and establish relationships with vendors
  • Booking locations, coordinating logistics, obtaining film permits, and hiring freelance crews when needed for remote shoots
  • Establish and maintain relationship with freelance crews (camera operators, audio operators, drone operators)
  • Willing to travel for shoots when needed
  • Develop call sheets to distribute to crew and talent for bigger productions; update and maintain the production calendar
  • Work with merch team when necessary to secure outfitting for productions and events
  • Coordinate shipping and logistics pre/post shoots; work with office management on organization and clean up of items no longer in use
  • Maintaining organized schedules, budgets, and documents 

Qualifications 

  • 1+ years of experience in production coordination 
  • Practical experience with on and off-site shoots 
  • Attention to detail at all times 
  • Willing to respond after hours on timely, urgent production/travel needs ● Ability to work under pressure/keep calm and order across large teams
  • Flexibility with changing schedules 

Salary Range: $60,000- $65,000
