Position Summary

This Project Employee, Data Intelligence Analyst role will support the NBA's data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The position involves analyzing basketball and business data, generating insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze basketball performance data and business metrics
  • Develop analytical models and data visualizations
  • Generate insights to support strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with basketball operations and business teams
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve data infrastructure and reporting systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Knowledge of basketball analytics preferred
