This position requires the candidate to act independently and quickly to ensure the integrity of NBATVi’s broadcast, as well as provide hands-on troubleshooting for any issues that may arise within NBATVi’s operational infrastructure.   This position requires well rounded knowledge of broadcast media systems including video, audio, and control systems workflow.   Major Responsibilities Support the live Broadcast environment for NBATV International Maintain on-air operation including running commercials, network, and local programming as a master control operator when the need emerges Operate and understand the ADC Automation equipment Execute, edit, update, and append live on-air playlists Build detailed technical reports, outage reports, and resolution action plans Liaise with various vendors and assist in the resolution of any and all technical issues Ability to work all shifts associated with 24x7x365 production environments including nights, weekends, and holidays.   Required Skills/Knowledge Hands-on experience with HD broadcasts and knowledge of HD systems Ability to operate and maintain on-air broadcast Familiarity with a Production Switcher, ADC Air Client (or similar broadcast playlist), and HD video server ingest and playback Experience with transmission and video quality control Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn Demonstrated ability to work independently and creatively   Experience Needed 1 - 2 years of broadcast operations or technical engineering experience Experience operating in a Master Control Environment is a plus   Educational Background Required College degree in Communications/Engineering or related field In lieu of a college degree significant field experience will be considered     Salary Range: [[$3,200/Biweekly]]  The NBA does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or any other third parties.
