TEAM SUMMARY
The team is on a mission to streamline and optimize Gracenote's cross-functional and global internal processes, through methodologies like Business Process Management (BPM) and Organizational Change Management (OCM), to achieve significant improvements in efficiency, quality, effectiveness, and experience.

ROLE SUMMARY 
The Project Management & Process Improvement Specialist is a role that blends project management with growth potential in process improvement. It involves initiative pipeline management, execution, stakeholder communication, and the opportunity to lead process improvement initiatives. As a key component of the Transformation Team, the specialist will also contribute to business process analysis, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The specialist will continually develop skills and knowledge in both project management and process optimization.

Some work outside of standard CET working hours will be required to ensure the new employee receives proper coaching, guidance, and support. 

Project Management responsibilities
  • Transformation Pipeline Management: Efficiently manage the initiative pipeline for the Transformation Team, aligning them with strategic objectives.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive and achievable project plans to ensure on-time and within-scope project delivery while fostering skills in process improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders throughout all project phases, enhancing your ability to engage with process stakeholders.
  • Project Tracking and Reporting: Track and report project timelines, Key Performance Indicators, and other relevant metrics, honing your data-driven approach to process improvement.
  • Required Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 (or equivalent), or equivalent experience in project management

  • Process Improvement Responsibilities
  • Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with teams to analyze Gracenote business processes, identify areas for improvement and optimization, and work towards becoming a process improvement expert.
  • Business Process Flow Documentation: Document business flows, an essential step in understanding and improving processes.
  • Process Improvement Leadership: Lead process improvement efforts, from discovery to implementation, monitoring, and enhancement, gradually transitioning into a process improvement role.
  • Change Management Support: Contribute to comprehensive change management plans to raise awareness and alignment among internal stakeholders and external business partners
  • Desired / Growth Plan Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, or Lean Certification

  • Required Certifications: Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) completed or in progress
    Desired Ceftifications:
    Process Improvement Certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, or Lean Certification)
    Change Management Certification (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP CCMP)
