About Us
Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.
Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.
We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role
At Nourish, we believe empowering providers is the key to transforming patient health at scale. The Provider Strategy team is on the frontlines of that mission — tackling the challenge of making Nourish the best place for dietitians to practice while driving better health outcomes for patients.
As a Provider Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll dive into one of the most complex and rewarding problems in healthcare tech: balancing provider satisfaction, patient experience, and health outcomes at scale. You’ll work directly with our Provider Strategy & Operations Senior Lead and partner closely with Care Strategy, People, Finance, and Product to design scalable systems, pilot new, strategic initiatives, and improve provider workflows that enable 3,000+ dietitians to deliver life-changing care.
This is a deeply cross-functional role where you’ll flex across analysis, system design, and on-the-ground execution. The right person thrives in ambiguity, runs toward messy problems, and is equally energized by building scalable processes as they are by rolling up their sleeves for unglamorous but critical work. You’ll be expected to bring sharp analytical skills, comfort in turning data into actionable insights, and strong communication abilities that can align stakeholders ranging from executives to frontline providers. This role is full-time and open to NYC based candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provider Operations: Manage core touchpoints with our 3,000+ providers, including All Hands meetings, newsletters, and community engagement, ensuring communications are clear and consistent.
- Issue Resolution & Process Improvement: Act as the first line of escalation for provider challenges and redesign workflows into scalable systems that make it easier for providers to deliver great care.
- Project Ownership: Lead pilots and initiatives from design through execution, such as productivity incentives, referral program redesigns, or state licensure expansion.
- Provider Insights: Pair interviews, surveys, and focus groups with data analysis to surface actionable insights that improve provider satisfaction, retention, and patient outcomes.
- Data & Analysis: Monitor key metrics like NPS, regretted churn, and utilization, translating trends into clear recommendations that guide strategy and executive decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Clinical Quality, CX, People, Product, and Finance to deliver initiatives that improve both the provider and patient experience.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You have 2–4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical/strategic role.
- You’re highly analytical and comfortable working with data (Excel, SQL/Metabase, etc.), always pushing beyond the numbers to pull out the “so-what” and translate insights into action.
- You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
- You can seamlessly switch between high-level strategy (zooming out) and detailed execution (zooming in).
- You’re an excellent communicator who can write clear, engaging messages for providers and confidently share insights with leadership.
- You’re a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, constantly takes ownership, and runs toward problems with curiosity and determination.
