Responsibilities:

• 🖥 Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments.
• 🚀 Engage with patients through our collaboration portal.
• 📚 Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers.
• 📝 Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination.
• 🙌 Partner with our care navigation team to support students.
• 🤝 Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary.

Who You Are:

• 🎓 Hold National Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with active APRN and RN licenses.
• 🧐 Possess 1+ years of experience in outpatient community mental health settings.
• 🧘 Conduct biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments.
• 💡Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
• 🌍 Understand culturally responsive treatment and have experience with diverse patient groups.
• 🔍 Comfortable assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios.
• 🖥 Equipped with the necessary technical tools for virtual care.

• 🌱 Insight into the college experience and mental health challenges faced by students.
• ⭐ Experience in critical risk areas, including bipolar disorders, eating disorders, and emerging psychosis.
• 🛋️ Skilled in providing brief therapeutic interventions, including behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and CBT.
• 📖 Commitment to ongoing learning in mental health.
