As Publishing Product Director, you are the creative custodian of one of Crytek’s games, embedded inside the game team, accountable for protecting the creative vision and translating the promise of the game into work that the publishing team can execute with conviction. The success of a great game depends on the work that surrounds it landing as truthfully as the game itself, and closing that gap is what this role exists to do. You make sure that what reaches players is authentic, aspirational, tells the story the game deserves, and delights the players who play it.
The game in your remit is an unannounced project in the Crytek portfolio. The work focuses on shaping the project’s player promise from the inside out, defining the publishing narrative for its eventual reveal, and carrying its creative vision through to launch and into ongoing releases.
You sit inside the game team, working shoulder-to-shoulder with game leadership every day. You partner directly with the Chief Publishing Officer and Brand & Marketing Director to support both the game and the business as one connected effort. You are the direct line between the game team and the publishing organization, the person who protects the north star on both ends, and the person both sides trust to tell them the truth.
This role demands creative conviction, drive, and the kind of experience that only comes from working shoulder-to-shoulder with game teams. You will protect the team from noise so they can build the game, and you will give the publishing team the clarity, player insight, and creative truth they need to land it well. It is one of the most consequential seats at Crytek, and one of the most rewarding.
