Job Overview

Wargaming is seeking an experienced and motivated QA Team Lead to join our Tech department which is a part of our worldwide project World of Warships. The Tech department consists of several specialized teams, including engine, backend, and gameplay.

The QA Team Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards within the department by providing QA expertise, supporting team processes, helping with integrating automation and acting as the bridge between the QA department and the Tech department.

What will you do?

Help the teams improve efficiency on their way of constantly making project better;
Ensure smooth and high level of quality for delivering technologies;
Provide QA expertise for the Technical Department;
Support the QA Department’s long-term goals, including process automation and scalability for the technical QA domain;
Motivate and coach the team;
Ensure transparency of the team’s work;
Ensure smooth collaboration between the teams and external departments and units of the company;
Cultivate a culture of mutual respect and continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

Experience in leading teams consisting of QA specialists;
Strong knowledge of modern testing methodologies, tools and approaches;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Excellent communication and leadership skills;
Decision-making skills;
Good master of coaching and employees motivation skills;
Advanced Level of English.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks;
Familiarity with backend and engine development pipelines;
Background in Game Dev would be plus

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
