Our recruiters act as brand ambassadors, problem solvers, and advocates for an outstanding candidate experience, while continually improving how we recruit across Riot.

As a Recruiter II, you will collaborate closely with our game development teams to attract and hire top talent from around the world. You understand that exceptional recruiting requires equal parts creativity, strategy, and connection. Drawing on your knowledge of the games industry, you will help grow the China Game Studio by advising hiring managers, crafting effective sourcing strategies, and ensuring we meet Riot’s high bar for talent. You will play a key role in building the teams that ship new games for players everywhere. From aligning with hiring managers on talent needs to curating diverse and qualified pipelines, you will help shape Riot’s future through every hire. This role reports to the APAC Recruiting Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle Recruiting, partnering with Rioters and Hiring Managers at various levels to advise on our Talent Acquisition strategy across various game development teams, with the goal to build world class teams across Game Design, Production, Art, Animation and beyond
  • Sourcing and qualifying high caliber passive candidates. You’re a relentless sourcer, leaving no stone unturned to find hidden gems, no matter their location
  • Ownership of the candidate experience, always looking to go above and beyond to provide a truly unique experience to candidates at any stage, while identifying opportunities to make our candidate journey more efficient and high quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues in People Department on wide ranging talent initiatives to help level up the Rioter experience, from onboarding and beyond 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years doing full-cycle recruiting at various seniority levels with strong experience working in games or in a fast growth technology company.
  • Exposure to a range of crafts from Art, Design, Production, Software Engineering to Insights.
  • You've been in the thick of recruiting action, managing everything from finding candidates, using data to suggest improvements, to dishing out congratulatory fist-bumps on their first day.
  • Highly articulate, ability to communicate and proven experience partnering with Hiring Managers  from entry level to Company Executives. 
  • You like listening to others and are sensitive to any communication style; that makes it easy for anyone to talk to you; others trust you and feel comfortable coming to you with all the info, so any rising problems can be tackled before they spiral into fiery vortices of bad vibrations.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Greenhouse or comparable Applicant Tracking Software
  • 3+ years of experience recruiting talent within the games industry
  • Experience with tools/systems like Salesforce, Workday, Tableau
