Recruiting Team Lead
The Role You’ll Play
You’ll lead EMEA go-to-market (GTM) hiring with a player-coach mindset, building a consistent, high-quality hiring experience for candidates and hiring teams. You’ll help scale the sales org behind Playlist’s mission to power real-world experiences, partnering closely with regional leaders to move fast without sacrificing craft.
- Lead a small team (3–4) and stay hands-on with key requisitions to deliver timely, high-quality GTM sales hires across EMEA
- Partner closely with EMEA Sales and GTM leaders to align on headcount plans, role profiles, hiring priorities, and close-date expectations
- Run structured, inclusive hiring processes that balance speed, quality, and candidate experience from intake through offer
- Build healthy pipelines for priority sales roles using data-driven sourcing strategies and proactive talent mapping
- Coach and develop recruiters through weekly 1:1s, calibrations, and live support on sourcing, screening, and closing
- Strengthen stakeholder management by setting clear communication rhythms, surfacing risks early, and driving decisive, aligned hiring decisions
- Train and enable interviewers and hiring managers on structured interviewing, consistent evaluation, and inclusive assessment practices
- Track team performance and hiring health (e.g., pipeline coverage, stage conversion, time-to-fill) and continuously improve workflows as the business evolves
Experience You Bring
- Proven experience leading end-to-end recruiting for GTM and sales roles, with strong ownership from intake to close
- Prior people leadership experience (or clear, demonstrated experience leading through influence) in a fast-moving environment
- Player-coach approach with the ability to balance team leadership and personal recruiting workload
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including partnering with senior leaders and navigating competing priorities with clarity and calm
- Experience recruiting across EMEA, including comfort operating across multiple markets, time zones, and local nuances
- Fluency in structured interviewing and interviewer enablement, with a focus on consistent, skills-based evaluation
- Strong sourcing and pipeline-building capabilities, including outreach strategy, market mapping, and compelling candidate engagement
- Data-informed approach to prioritization and process improvement, using metrics to diagnose issues and drive better outcomes
