Job Overview

The Release Team stands at the last frontier of game development, building and delivering game updates across all layers of the infrastructure. They ensure every update reaches players seamlessly to keep the gaming experience fresh and engaging for everyone. From small patches to major updates, they are the unsung heroes behind every thrilling new release.

Reports to

Head of Release

What will you do?

  • Set, control, and track the tasks necessary for the release of major and minor versions of the game or related services.
  • Coordinate project release activities in collaboration with project teams, DevOps, QA, content managers, and other departments.
  • Analyze, coordinate, and escalate issues within teams in case of incidents.
  • Define technical release dependencies.
  • Set requirements, schedules, and release plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide transparent updates on game version statuses.
  • Advise and inform all involved parties about planned releases.

Who are we looking for?

  • 1+ year of experience in a development team (preferably as a PO, PM, or RM).
  • Atlassian stack (Jira/Confluence) expertise.
  • Ability to determine priorities, decompose tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Stress tolerance, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of software development processes and how modern complex client-server systems work.
  • Good written and verbal English skills (B2+).

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Work experience in game development or QA.
  • Technical background.
  • Understanding of the Russian language. 

Work mode

  • Onsite - during probation period for smoother onboarding and transition into the new role.
  • Hybrid (3 days of work from the office) - after the probation period.
  • This role is eligible for relocation and immigration support.
