Job Description

As a Reliability Quality Engineer, you will work closely with WHOOP Hardware Engineering, Product Manager and other teams and vendors as you will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality requirements and reliability standards. This individual will lead initiatives to maintain and improve quality and reliability of products and processes. This role requires a combination of technical and operational skills to ensure products are developed and released that meet customer requirements. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and reliability engineering plans
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance and reliability
  • Analyze customer feedback, industry trends and production data to identify areas of improvement
  • Explore industry requirements and/or best practices on new features and/or new products
  • Develop and implement test strategies to ensure product quality and reliability
  • Investigate product failures and develop corrective action plans
  • Design experiments to evaluate critical-to-quality characteristics
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes
  • Train personnel in quality and reliability engineering concepts
  • Develop and maintain quality and reliability assurance documents
  • Interface with customers to ensure product satisfaction and reliability

  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in quality and reliability engineering
  • Proficiency in the use of testing and analysis tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills of technical details and engineering analyses with domestic and international teams
  • Impeccable attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills 
  • Self motivated and proactive, demonstrating creative and critical thinking capabilities in a team environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes

  • This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
