THE POSITION

FanDuel Group is looking to add an Associate to its Responsible Gaming Team. Responsible Gaming (RG) is one of the key components of FanDuel’s long term strategy to build a first-class sports betting platform. We cannot be successful if we don’t protect customers who may be at risk for Responsible Gaming issues—all customers should only engage with our products if it makes sense for them, and if they play, they should only play appropriately and safely.

The Responsible Gaming Associate will play an important role in supporting the company’s RG efforts by supporting on internal and external events and programming, managing the budget related to RG marketing and partnership spend, supporting the continued development and execution of Responsible Gaming initiatives and partnerships.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Manage team budgets by tracking expenses, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper documentation to support forecasting and financial planning processes in partnership with RG team leadership and Finance partners.
  • Lead key components of Responsible Gaming team reporting needs, including quarterly submissions of key metrics and support on audit workstreams.
  • Support internal and external event planning and related project management (examples: annual company Responsible Gaming event in September, partner activations, etc.)
  • Facilitate project management of key RG initiatives including campaigns, creation of new RG educational materials, and partner event planning 
  • Manage internal process to review and assess new talent partners to mitigate RG risk 
  • Support the development of Responsible Gaming strategic planning initiatives and ongoing stakeholder management requirements.
  • Liaise with external partners and organizations as required, including industry groups and non-profits

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of total business experience, experience in the gaming industry or other highly regulated industries preferred
  • Experience with financial management, budget tracking, or expense reporting preferred
  • Strong presentation building, including strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized individual with strong attention-to-detail
  • Demonstrated aptitude for process execution, including identification of process improvements
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a very fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and out of comfort zone
  • A self-starter with energy to follow-through and own the outcome

The applicable hourly range for this position is $26.44 - $33.17 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
