Get to know the role

  • Job Title: Retail Sales Analyst
  • Job Summary: This role will be responsible for deep analysis of retail and distribution information regarding Pokémon Trading Card Game using data from internal and external sources to provide actionable insight to decision-makers. This role would be working with internal and external stakeholders across multiple EMEA markets, as well as stakeholders based in the Bellevue, US office.

What you’ll do

  • Collate sales and supply information from TPCi’s network of retailers and resellers, transforming & cleaning data in keeping with requirements.
  • Compile a database of information within a data warehouse that enables the company to forecast future sales trends & support sales managers in forecasting production quantities.
  • Use the database to reformat and visualise sales data, forecast volume requirements; supply this information to Sales Managers in a timely fashion for reseller & retailer meetings.
  • Identify best-selling product lines; highlighting sell-outs and take actions to quickly re-supply; forecast sales to ensure accurate supplies and optimum availability of all product lines.
  • Analyse sales at store level (where data is available) to ensure compliance to promotions and timely re-stocking of shelves / displays.
  • Track retailer promotions and combine this with sales data to create Return on Investment models and analysis; making recommendations for the most profitable promotions/periods /timings.
  • Create and maintain a database of available retail space across all markets and retailers.
  • Assist with creating and editing external presentations for International Sales Managers and VP, European Sales.
  • Provide International Sales Managers with appropriate data for Retail Buyer meetings.

What you’ll bring

  • Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in multiple BI applications including Tableau.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (knowledge or experience with Visual Basic for Applications is beneficial but not essential) and database management.
  • Experience using SQL & Python is highly desirable.
  • Experience with JIRA, Gitlab and Confluence is a plus.
  • Familiarity with OLAP Data Warehouse Systems & ELT Pipelines is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate information and analyse simply and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to identify trends within complex data.
  • Confident in presenting and explaining key findings both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of retail sales and marketing is beneficial but not essential.
  • Familiarity using version control to check in production code in a shared repository.

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between £41,974.00 - £54,773.00 per year. The full range is £41,974.00 - £73,454.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
