THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sales Strategy Director is a critical, high-impact leadership role within the Revenue Strategy & Enablement team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Strategy & Enablement, this director will be the architect and driver of our global B2B Sales Development (SDR/BDR) and Sales strategies. 

The successful candidate will lead a team of 3-managerial level direct reports to establish foundational strategies, deliver actionable insights, and implement structured processes and enablement that maximize commercial performance and drive scalable revenue growth. This role is expected to operate as a strategic thought partner to the CRO and Senior Revenue Leaders

YOUR IMPACT

  • Develop and execute a Global Sales Strategy, owning and driving key initiatives, process improvements, and projects with the support of Sales Leadership.
  • Formulate and develop business plans, identifying opportunities to improve go-to-market efficiencies and leading efforts to scale.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales Ops, Sales Tools, Finance, and Product teams to ensure strategic initiatives (e.g., new product launches, pricing changes) are smoothly operationalized and supported by the sales organization, accelerating growth in new geographies, products, and market segments.
  • Deliver enablement programs to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the B2B sales force.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales Leadership, supporting global sales forces who sell to every industry and market across all countries we operate in.
  • Assess and drive innovative pricing strategies and options for sales teams, staying current with the competitive landscape and recommending changes that unlock new revenue streams.
  • Lead and mentor a team of three Sales Strategy Managers, fostering their professional development and ensuring the Sales Strategy function consistently delivers maximum commercial value.
  • Conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, then translate those results into easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations.

Who You Are

  • A Strategic Architect with a strong track record in Sales Strategy or senior commercial leadership (Business Development, Sales), with SaaS, B2B, or Strategy Consulting experience as a plus.
  • You have extensive experience in designing and executing global Go-to-Market (GTM) models and sales enablement programs, partnering with GTM Teams to leverage sales performance and influence cross-functional revenue programs.
  • A Data-Driven Decision-Maker who brings excellent quantitative analytical skills and a deep understanding of sales performance, metrics, sales funnel, sales methodologies, and CRM reporting (e.g., Salesforce).
  • A Cross-Functional Collaborator with a strong ability to interact and influence effectively with senior stakeholders. You have proven experience partnering across Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to drive strategic decisions and consensus.
  • A Strong  Communicator (written, verbal, and active listener) who possesses executive presence. You are capable of translating complex business goals into effective strategies and influencing outcomes.
  • A Resilient, Adaptable Professional who can think strategically while maintaining exceptional attention to detail to drive program management and execution. You embrace the fast-paced, high-growth environment of a global technology company and manage multiple, often ambiguous, strategic projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively across global teams
  • A People Leader who can thrive in a fully remote organization and act as a true team player.
