This position will primarily be involved with working within a broader clinical care setting to assist with fundamental tasks related to providing excellent patient care.
There are flexible scheduling options, which include day, evening, weekend, and PRN shifts. Operating hours are from 8AM - 8PM EST, 7 days a week. This job is perfect for someone who wants to optimize their schedule while enhancing patient access to care.
Job Functions:Provide health assessments and treatment solutions via telephone, video, or chat functionsTrack and monitor follow-up calls, escalate when appropriateReceive inbound phone calls from patients seeking answers to various medical conditionsMake outbound initial and follow-up calls to patients to deliver lab results and provide information on treatment solutionsMake outbound follow-up calls to patients identified as high-risk during initial phone callDe-escalate situations where a patient is upset or threatening, escalate when appropriateRefer to in-person care when appropriateInterpret and communicate outcomes of lab resultsUtilize secure email to communicate lab results to patientsAssist with reviews of incoming test requestsMonitor and manage incoming queue of test requests to ensure timely reviewLead the audit process to ensure high quality care by adhering to service-level agreements, such as turnaround timesStay up to date with current health trends and recommendations
Desired Skills and Experience:RN Degree required3 years clinical experience requiredVirtual Care/Telehealth experience preferredUnderstanding of broader clinical environment and alternative venues for care like telehealth is a strong plusEstimated Salary range:
