THE ROLE - Sales Associate - Grocery 

As an entry-level Sales Associate, you will support our sales team in building strong customer relationships, analyzing sales data, and executing key initiatives to drive growth in the Conventional Grocery channel. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in sales with a company that values innovation, collaboration, and personal development. Associate will be working cross functionally with Olly, SmartyPants, Welly and Onnit in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts within the designated area, including customer and broker partnerships.
• Assist in building and nurturing relationships with grocery customers and procurement buyers.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Help prepare presentations and sales materials for customer meetings.
• Monitor competitive brands and products to understand shopper trends.
• Track new item launches and support execution in the market.
• Maintain and update weekly reporting tools and dashboards.
• Build selling deck and all necessary materials for customer meetings, including but not limited to sell-in stories, monthly meetings and line reviews using customer specific and syndicated data​ 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of sales initiatives.

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer service.
• Strong interest in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or health and wellness industry.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new tools.
• Results-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS 

• Initial video screen with a member of our Talent team 
• Round 1: Conversation with the Hiring Manager + 1-2 conversations with other team members
• Round 2: 2-3 conversations with team or cross-functional partners 
• Final Round: Homework* 

*Our final round is called Homework. Candidates who participate in this round are given 3 questions in advance to answer and present to the interview panel they previously spoke with in the process. THE DETAILS 

LOCATION: Remote - USA

 HOURS: Full time, exempt (salaried) 

TRAVEL: Up to 10–15%

MANAGER: Reports to Director of Sales, Grocery

The salary range for this position is $59,680.00 - $89,520.00 dependent on experience and location.
