About this Position

Cala Health’s Sales Support Intake Specialist provides operational support to the Sales Support organization including, and not limited to, data entry, reporting, and patient interfacing. This position may interface with Finance, Commercial Operations, Sales, Claims Reimbursement and Systems Administration. The Sales Support Intake Specialist reports to the Sales Support Manager and has no direct reports. This position is a remote role, specifically 8am-5pm Eastern Standard Time. Shift times may vary based on business need.

The overall compensation range for this role is market driven, with a salary range of $55,000 - $80,000 based on our base compensation. Additionally, we offer Cala Health company stock options and a robust benefits package. This offering is aligned with our overall compensation philosophy.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage daily data entry requirements and intake process for new and existing
    patients
  • Oversee daily operations of incoming document fax server
  • Provide review and quality check on incoming documents, associated data entry
    and organization
  • Provides status updates and quotes to Veterans Affairs agents
  • Communicate with potential customers via phone and/or email to explain the
    sales process and answer questions
  • Receive completed sales paperwork from customers (e.g., agreements, privacy
    notifications, etc.)
  • Identify medical documentation as required for the reimbursement process
  • Support new and emerging business models
  • Assist with data integrity and work with digital teams for system improvements
  • Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good
    Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations
  • Document all interactions and calls into the customer relationship management
    (CRM) system in accordance with Quality Assurance/Regulatory and HIPAA
    guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the healthcare industry
  • Previous experience in sales support or customer service role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Computer competency including MS Office, Google Suite, Internet, and navigation of
    customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced
    environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
