About the Role

Outdoorsy Yosemite is seeking a hospitality focused Seasonal Cleaning Associate. The Cleaning Associate will play a key role in creating a pristine first impression to all guests that enter any and all interior spaces through routine cleaning and maintenance. After a long day of adventuring in nature, our guests deserve relaxation in thoroughly cleaned and nurtured spaces

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms as assigned according to the highest standards of cleanliness (i.e. mopping, dusting, windows, making beds, removing trash, bathrooms, and kitchens)
Ability to lift 10-20 pounds and be on their feet for 8 hours a day
Maintain inventories of cleaning supplies, equipment on hand, and room amenities
Restock guest amenities and supplies
Communicates effectively; Informs Guest Experience Hosts on status of room cleanliness/completion
Assist guests with questions and requests with the highest level of attention and customer service
Ability to work flexible hours (weekends, evenings, and holidays)
Ensure the grounds, buildings, and units are fully functional, safe, and attractive.
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 3 years experience in housekeeping
Able to adhere to strict cleaning guidelines and policies
Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as the business demands
Ability to lift 15-25 pounds
Able to be on their feet for 8 hours a day
Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Preferred:

Hotel or Resort cleaning experience
New build/opening team experience
Passion for the outdoors

Benefits

Wages:

$16.00/hr-$18.00/hr

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with potentially applicable laws. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and bonus dependent upon position.
