JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The NFL Digital Media Technical Operations team is seeking a coordinator to assist with supporting digital apps and platforms.  Focus will be on live video streaming experiences on web browsers, mobile phone, tablet and connected tv apps on game days.  This person will be expected to immerse themselves within the details of all digital products and become a communication hub for operational activities. This person should have strong communication skills and confidence in a fast-paced environment. This position will communicate with product management, technology, and business development.  The role will report directly to the Senior Product Operations Manager. 

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate and monitor daily operational activities to ensure they are carried out efficiently and according to established procedures for Product Operations team. 
  • Validate and check CTV, mobile, tablet and web devices for live streaming of games and shows supporting content and advertising requests.  
  • Ensuring that the live stream plays properly in all relevant DMAs during game window, on desktop (Preseason), mobile web & mobile app (Preseason & Regular Season) 
  • Managing the triage, escalation and resolution of Business Development and fan reported issues in real-time on Game Days 
  • Duties will also include answering messages sent into NFL.com by fans, which requires knowledge about how the site feature’s function. Offer fans in-depth tier 2 technical support on own and operated products.  
  • Provide support to our direct-to-consumer such as NFL+, Fantasy, RedZone, and NFL Network products by processing subscription renewals, refunds, and cancellations.  
  • Help process NFL Privacy request such as deletion, access and change of user’s data.  
  • Use several databases, portals, and consoles to perform personal information functions such as processing deletion and access requests. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 1-3 years’ experience coordinating and supporting digital products in a sports entertainment, digital, media or related industry  
  • Well-organized; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills 
  • Excellent problem-solving ability; highly motivated to drive positive change 
  • Must be able to work all NFL Game Days, including Preseason, Regular Season and Playoffs, in-office. 
  • Must be able to work on holidays (e.g. Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's). 
  • Strong knowledge of sports and digital sports products 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in business, marketing, communications, computer science, or related field is preferred.

  • Avid interest and knowledge of NFL football

Terms /Expected Hours of Work

  • 7-month employment period, 40 hours/week expected 
  • Flexible schedule is a must including weekends, holidays, and late nights 

Salary / Pay Range 

  • This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

$23$23 USD
