• Manager to join the Sports

• Management division, managing two major golf-related accounts (ETP, covering DP World Tour/HotelPlanner Tour/Ryder Cup, and The R&A).

The role combines day-to-day client account management - reporting, business reviews, reforecasting, and cross-functional strategic projects - with ownership of media rights and distribution, including rights renewals, broadcaster contract negotiations, rights audits, and technical/broadcast delivery coordination. It requires • strong experience with high-level international clients, media rights and TV distribution knowledge, and • excellent communication and relationship-building skills across internal teams (legal, finance, sales) and external broadcast partners.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Account

• Management: Lead day-to-day account management across all capability centres, media rights, and distribution Prepare and deliver quarterly (and monthly, where applicable) client reporting, account health checks, business reviews, and reforecasting to support commercial and operational planning

• Collaborate with Account Directors, VPs, Capability Centre

• Leads, and client Senior

• Leadership Teams to align account strategy, delivery, and growth opportunities

• Support cross-functional project planning and delivery of key strategic initiatives (e.g. cloud/IP delivery, AI automation, content monetisation, GTM and media strategy, partnerships frameworks, digital activations, remote operations, and broadcast innovations) Prepare materials for strategic partnership meetings and business reviews Media Rights & Distribution

• Management: Act as primary point of contact for all media rights, distribution, and broadcast-related matters

• Lead media rights renewal processes and rights requirements across relevant tours/championships and territories

• Support and lead broadcaster negotiations to secure favourable commercial terms and distribution KPIs

• Manage rights contracts, conduct regular rights audits, and maintain engagement with sales executives for market/industry intelligence Own invoice, receivables, and technical agreement reporting, ensuring budgets, reconciliations, and reporting timelines are met

• Work with Technical Services/Production/Distribution teams to optimise delivery solutions, onsite broadcaster requirements, and technical execution for events

Knowledge and Experience

• Previous experience of managing high-level international client(s). An ability to gain a detailed understanding of client business requirements. An overview of the global media business, key players and key movements. A developed understanding of contemporary media practises and demands.

• • Proven experience within the media rights landscape, with a track record of leading and supporting rights renewal strategies, contract negotiations, and rights audits.

• Knowledge of TV production, including OB and remote production workflows, and its technical requirements.

• Knowledge of distribution methods, including satellite, IP, and fibre delivery, with the ability to interpret rate cards, evaluate delivery options, and understand the commercial and technical considerations of feed distribution. A strong understanding of IMG’s capabilities and a willingness to collaborate closely with Studios, Brand Partnerships, Digital & Data, and Event

• Management teams to support cross-functional objectives. An understanding of IMG priorities Strong knowledge of systems, business practises, resources and personnel within IMG Media Knowledge of the golf industry and broader ecosystem is preferred but not essential.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Should be an articulate and compelling communicator, able to draft clear, concise and grammatically sound written communications and to present confidently. Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet. Able to multi-task and highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively. Able to build strong working relationships with key internal contacts, e.g. lawyers, accountants and sales executives. Able to exercise sound judgement, suggest logical solutions to problems and make decisions. Numerate and analytical in order to understand and interpret data. Positive personality and approach to work. Able to respond and adapt to change. Self-sufficient and pro-active team player. A strong understanding of, and ability to implement, strategy to facilitate successful multi-year project delivery.

• • Strong project management skills. An interest in golf, wider sport, television and programming; interest in all aspects of the media business.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time fixed-term maternity cover contract until 15th April 2027.

The role will be based at our Chiswick Park office 3 days per week and 1 day per week at our office in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
