About this role:

iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting who will perform a full spectrum of financial reporting and accounting assignments, that ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting performs a full spectrum of financial reporting and accounting assignments, that ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The role includes preparing and reviewing various supporting schedules used in quarterly and year end reporting. The role also includes preparing / reviewing journal entries and supporting schedules for complex accounts primarily relating to equity transactions as part of the monthly close process. Duties may include:

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the preparation of all aspects of SEC reporting, including preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, annual Proxy statement, disclosure checklists, footnote preparation, and financial statement tie-outs.
  • Support effective preparation of the quarterly earnings releases and other investor relations presentations and analysis.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of internal control to ensure the accuracy and quality of financial statements produced and in support of SOX compliance efforts.
  • Perform quarterly closing and reporting tasks including preparing account reconciliation, roll-forwards, cashflow and equity statements and other schedules; identify items shown in the closing/reporting process and propose solutions through research.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting tasks relating to stock-based compensation, EPS calculation, and other administrative tasks. Stock based compensation experience including service-based RSUs, performance and service-based RSUs, and performance, market and service-based RSUs.
  • Provide support to external auditors during audits and interim reviews
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting, including research, assessments, and position papers regarding topics of interest.
  • Experience with financial reporting and xBRL drafting software. 
  • Other special projects and duties as requested or assigned.

About you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field 
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (audit, consulting, and/or corporate accounting) 
  • 2+ years of experience as a Senior Auditor or Senior Accountant in a SEC Reporting capacity
  • Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment
  • Strong understanding and proficiency of U.S. GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a variety of personnel both internally and externally  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent certification  
  • Big Four public accounting experience 
  • Experience with QAD and Workiva software
  • Experience with accounting for equity related transactions (share-based compensation, award grant/exercise/cancellation)
  • An eagerness to learn and take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment

Estimated Pay Range
$94,100$137,000 USD
