<div><span style="font-size: 11pt;">The team’s work spans across all business units, with a focus on initiatives that will drive growth at Fenway Sports Group (FSG) and across its portfolio companies, which, in addition to FSM, include the Boston Red Sox, Liverpool Football Club, Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Common Golf, PGA TOUR, New England Sports Network, FSG Real Estate, Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing and The SpringHill Company.
It is a lean team that works closely with a broad group of senior executives to develop and execute organic and inorganic growth opportunities at FSG and its subsidiaries.</span></div><div><b style="font-size: 11pt;"> </b></div><div><u style="font-size: 11pt;"><b>POSITION
</b></br><li><u><i>Assist in the Identification, Evaluation and Execution of Potential Strategic Growth Opportunities</i></u></li><li>Support executive leadership on all matters related to FSG’s corporate development and strategy</li><li>Monitor trends and transactions across the sports, media and entertainment ecosystem, interpret data, and identify potential competitive opportunities/threats facing FSG and its properties</li><li>Generate inbound and outbound deal flow</li><li>Conduct market assessments, size new opportunities (related to current and new lines of business), and evaluate potential strategic initiatives, partners and transactions</li><li>Collaborate with senior management and outside advisors to assess potential M&A opportunities that support and accelerate strategic priorities</li><li>Participate in meetings and contribute to building, maintaining and strengthening partner relationships throughout the life of a transaction and beyond</li><li>Build detailed financial and operating models and develop various financial analyses</li><li>Prepare and present analyses, conclusions and recommendations to senior leadership</li><li>Assist with transaction execution, including:</li><li>Conducting financial modeling, valuation, comparable/relative value analyses and market-specific analyses</li><li>Coordinating due diligence efforts with internal and external counterparties</li><li>Managing information flow across a cross-functional deal team</li><li>Assisting with deal negotiations</li></br><b>CHARACTERISTICS /
</b></br><li>Bachelor’s Degree required</li><li>3+ years of experience at an investment bank, private equity firm, management consulting firm or in a corporate strategy/development role at a large company</li><li>Excellent financial modeling, valuation/transaction and quantitative analyses skills </li><li>Intellectually curious and passionate about the business of sports, media and entertainment</li><li>Highly organized, self-motivated and persistent team-player with outstanding work ethic</li><li>Exceptional judgment with strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>High degree of attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and efficiently</li><li>Ability to thrive on a small team, wearing many different hats and having significant exposure to senior leadership, with the composure and confidence to work on several projects simultaneously</li><li>Ability to work effectively and independently across functions/business units in a rapidly changing business environment</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and outbound mentality who can successfully build beneficial relationships</li><li>Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner</li><li>Must be based in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA and willing to occasionally travel</li><div>#FSM</div></br><div>At the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Sports Management, we go beyond embracing diversity.
