We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our US-based Partner Squad within the Ecosystem Mission. The Partner Squad is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Oura’s partnership integrations. The ideal candidate wants to understand our users and listen to their needs, proactively advocates for technical investments, and is passionate about delivering quality code. We strongly value a proactive attitude and end-to-end ownership: taking a rough idea, working with others to turn it into a concrete feature or product, deploying it, and monitoring its usage to make sure it solves the intended needs.
Because so much of our work is done together with other team members, empathy and excellent communication skills are very strongly valued at Oura.

What we offer:
Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
This range covers multiple levels we are hiring for. A recruiter can determine your zones/tiers based on your US location as well as clarify what level you are being considered for and what the compensation band would be for that specific level.
