About the Senior Brand Partnerships Manager at Headspace:

The Senior Brand Partnerships Manager sits on our Consumer Partnerships team within our Content and Product division. This role will help to secure and project manage campaigns with strategic partners (such as Sesame Street, Hyatt, Starbucks, Oura, LinkedIn and more) to build brand awareness and acquire new members for Headspace. This role will oversee and manage the pipeline for brand & content partnership opportunities, assist with execution of partnership deals that involve co-marketing campaigns, content curation and potential product integrations. This cross functional role will work with our external partners and internal teams across the organization (e.g. with Brand, Marketing, Content, Product, Finance, Legal) to bring to life impactful partnerships that drive the brand forward.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, plan and manage consumer partnerships with like minded brands that have loyal communities and large reach and scale 
  • Establish and maintain long-term, high-profile relationships with our brand partners
  • Assist in negotiating deal terms that align and support the goals of both organizations
  • Oversee the inbound and outbound leads from brands interested in partnering with Headspace and optimize our partnerships intake process (eg responding to emails, recording meeting notes, establishing efficient workflows) 
  • Have an understanding of the creative process and an eye for content that is highly engaging, entertaining and educational 
  • Help to build and execute on go-to-market strategies for partnership launches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, PR, Brand, Content) to align the consumer partnership strategy to support brand growth 
  • Leverage market research, audience insights and performance metrics to build strategy, fuel decision making, optimize approach and measure performance of all partnerships 
  • Create post mortems on partnership successes, failures and learnings
  • Ideate on innovative ways to build new audiences and awareness through strong brand alliances
  • Understand relevant mental health and wellness industry trends through continued research specifically with an eye on content development and media-worthy partnerships 

What you will bring:

  • A proven track record of success in a partnership management, business development and/or account management 
  • Proven track record sourcing, developing, and maintaining world-class partner relationships
  • 5-8 years of experience in technology, entertainment, agency, or media industry
  • Experience working with contracts, interpreting legal documents, and working with legal teams to complete agreements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills 
  • A knack for storytelling and creating branded content 
  • Strong project and account management skills
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, listening skills to ensure we understand and meet goals of our partners
  • Have a strong entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills capable of building strong relationships both inside and outside the company
  • Ability to take initiative and adapt quickly

Pay & Benefits:

The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, relevant licensure and certifications, and unique relevant experience and job-related skills. The base salary range for this role is $104,000-$146,000.
