At Entain Australia and New Zealand. Made up of four regional teams across the country, our regional broadcast teams are fundamental to the success of Entain NZ. As a senior camera operator, you will spend the majority of your time working at race tracks throughout the region and the country filming races. As you will be a senior member of the team you will also be responsible for training your colleagues when required. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate camera operator with several years of experience who is looking to build their skill set. 

The position comes with a reasonable amount of driving, and as such will require a full class 1 driver's licence. Applicants who hold a class 2 licence will be looked at favourably. You will also be required to work at heights regularly and adhere to and role model relevant health & safety policies. The remainder of your time will be spent completing admin tasks to support the Team Leader for Camera Operations as well as the camera team. You will need to be competent with computers, in particular, Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, as well as able to complete tasks autonomously. You will also be expected to ensure our pool vehicles are regularly checked and correctly maintained.

What You'll Bring...

• Are comfortable working independently as well as within a team.
• Maintain good working relationships and effective communication with the wider Broadcasting team as well as Management.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Have good hand-eye coordination.
• Are physically capable of lifting gear up stairs, climbing high ladders (with safety gear and appropriate training) and using a ropes system to get gear to camera positions.

This role is a full-time position where your days of work on track are based around the racing calendar. Over the busy summer months (Nov, Late Dec & Jan) flexibility with hours will be essential with travelling to various locations (including overnight travel) is required.
