Let's start with the role
As a Senior Commercial Executive you will play a key role in developing and expanding the market share through driving growth and optimizing operations in assigned countries. You’ll manage budgets, analyze P&L, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to maximize ROI. Additionally, you’ll oversee commercial agreements, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure market strategies are executed smoothly.
As a Senior Commercial Executive, you will:
- Contribute to the development and the growth of the market share for the countries of responsibility;
- Assist in developing the Marketing Budget ensuring efficient allocation and usage, flagging discrepancies, and suggesting corrective actions;
- Contribute in developing the annual commercial budget, follows up on the P&L of the countries of responsibility- responsible to identify and raise flags to CMs and Commercial, and bring insights for the efficient correction and allocation;
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and internal teams to review and assess critical commercial agreements (e.g., revenue share percentages, termination clauses) to maximize ROI while limiting the company’s liability;
- Provide updated information, analysis and reports to the management and relevant business units to drive and facilitate well-informed commercial and product decisions;
- Build a solid understanding of the regulatory framework for the market and manage relationships with key stakeholders acting as the checkpoint from HQ's side;
- Align with various departments on market strategies, ensuring clear objectives and collaboration with BI, Marketing, CRM, Compliance, Finance, CS, and other HQ and local teams;
- Act as the main point of contact for cross-departmental communications between business units, local teams, and external stakeholders in assigned markets. Escalate issues to Commercial Heads as needed;
- Supervise/run projects/initiatives to enhance market strategy and customer experience to life;
- Ensure that the current internal cross-departmental processes efficiently work. Improve the existing Commercial processes and build up new processes where necessary;
- Oversee the execution of Commercial Operations, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports and templates.
What you will bring
- 4+ years of experience in a similar position in consumer focused online high transactional industry, ideally from gambling and/or casino industry;
- Excellent English both in speaking and writing; Knowledge of Spanish is an asset;
- Proven success driving a P&L and a team.;
- Strong customer focus, hands-on approach, and execution skills, with a keen business sense and sales-driven mindset;
- A good understanding of online conversion, retention and reactivation techniques;
- A strong grasp of customer loyalty and value strategies in a transactional web and mobile environment;
- Experience with marketing strategies in transactional web and mobile settings is a plus;
- Good knowledge of key performance and customer metrics;
- International experience and working knowledge are an advantage;
- Experience in process driven operations is an advantage, will be considered an asset;
- High energy and ambition levels with passion for success;
- Strong leadership, cooperation and analytical skills, team spirit;
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities;
- Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
