This role is a part of the Global Procurement function globally. As a Global Procurement team, our goal is to greatly enhance Nielsen’s long term profitability and support sustainable growth while managing global risks effectively. As an integral member of the Global Procurement team, you will manage our Contract Management and Administration process across all 3rd party spend categories. This includes working with the Contract Manager and collaborating closely with our Legal organization to manage supplier contracts, establish playbooks, manage contract databases, and provide basic contractual education to members of the procurement team. This role requires someone highly collaborative and data driven to manage contracts at scale with strong influencing and interpersonal skills to help achieve Nielsen’s objectives through negotiations and effective communication.
Develop and manage pipeline of upcoming new and renewal contracts, aligning this with the Sourcing team and flagging reviews or re-reviews as needed to Sourcing and Legal teams.
Respond to legal requests from stakeholders and vendors, summarizing and communicating legal concepts per our Legal’s playbook.
Work closely with our Sourcing Legal partners to develop and implement contract management procedures and policies that streamline processes and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems, build partnerships, and close deals quickly.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Procurement related contracts preferably in a media organization.
Experienced in drafting, negotiating and executing supplier contracts such as Master Agreements, Amendments, Order Forms and Statements of Work. Proven experience in working on software related agreements with key focus on SAAS and Software License Agreements is also necessary.
Familiarity and practical experience with technology solutions designed to enhance Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) through generative AI capabilities would be advantageous..
Excellent decision making and analytical abilities focused on minimizing risks, along with clear and effective communication skills.
Should be holding a Law Degree..
Should be a collaborative team player and flexible to work in the EST time zone (1 PM - 10 PM IST).
